Pet Home Visits

The Details...

We have a strong love for ALL ANIMALS! In fact, our family is well known for being the animal crazy family. Naturally, we also love to care for your furbabies at home. We cater to all species! In the past we have looked after dogs, cats, fish, tortoise, rabbits and chickens. Nothing is too much trouble animal wise.

Normally we offer a free consultation at your home so you can meet us and show us where everything is. We will then discuss your pet(s) needs at length. At the consultation we would normally take a set of keys however, your more then welcome to drop them at the hotel closer to your visit date.

We are fully insured for all home visits. DBS Checked and Animal First Aid Trained.

Our home visitors are Chloe and Evita. They are both highly experienced in all aspects of Animal Care and regularly complete CPD.

Chloe is a qualified Animal Hydrotherapist, experienced dog show handler/breeder and holds a BSc(Hons)Animal Science Degree in Companion and Zoo species.

Cats

We also offer home visits for cats that are extremely nervous and unable to make it to our amazing hotel.

At a 'cat' home visit we would usually refresh any litter trays, water bowls and feed pets to owners instructions. if cats are happy and friendly to us, we will spend some time giving your fur baby lots of fusses and attention. A photo/video update will be given at every home visit. We are more than happy to administer mediation. If you need us to change any lights around or take bins out just let us know.

Usually we do not let cats go out as we cannot guarantee their safety while you're away this way. Also, not all cats would come home for a 'stranger' like they do their mums and dads. However, if your cat usually has a cat flap and you're happy for them to come and go that is something we can discuss.

We recommend visits at least once a day to ensure your cat is well looked after throughout your time away. We will not accept bookings for any less than this.

Dogs

On dog home visits, we will let your fur-baby out into the garden, clear up any toileting outside, change any water bowls, feed your pet if required, bring some games to keep them busy! We are huge fans of Lick Mats, Kongs and Snuffle Mats. Happy to bring these with us on our visits if you don't have these at home. We will have a go at a mini trick session if your pet is able. You never know, your dog may pick up a trick or two while your away!
